Michi Morris

Michi is Ndevr Environmental's Principal Consultant for Climate Change and Strategy, and has many years of experience in climate change policy, carbon, waste, and resource management, sustainability reporting, and management consulting.

Her experience spans a multitude of projects in the fields of corporate climate change strategy development and climate risks, community and business engagement for climate change action, consultations on sustainability issues and policy proposals, science communication and reporting, as well as carbon footprint assessments and environmental project finance.

Michi comes to Ndevr Environmental from a governmental agency on low-carbon development in the Middle East, where she was a member of national climate change policy working groups and the delegation to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). In this capacity she managed the sub-national energy legislator’s engagement with a network of international partners, amongst them United Nations agencies (UNDP, UNEP, UNSDSN), the World Energy Council, and the World Economic Forum.

She holds a Masters in political communication and a Bachelors in journalism and public law from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, and is in the process of completing a Masters programme in environmental science specialising in climate change at the University of Melbourne (due 2018). Michi has further qualifications in project management (PRINCE2), greenhouse gas accounting (ISO 14064) and sustainability reporting (GRI Practitioner).
