ENERGY AUDITS & BUSINESS CASE DEVELOPMENT
Ndevr Environmental’s engineers are trained and experienced in the latest AS/NZS 3598:2004 Energy Audit Standards – for commercial buildings, industrial and transport activities.
To complement our engineering capability our economics, finance and policy specialists can help move an opportunity to capital approval and implementation. We excel at building usable models for forecasting and scenario analysis, such as Marginal Abatement Cost Curves (MACCs), and working within an organisation’s existing capital expenditure processes.
We are represented on the OEH Energy Professionals Panel to undertake energy audits and to deliver training in energy management basics and business case development.
The Australian National Energy Productivity Plan 2015-2030 (NEPP) provides a framework for working towards a 40% improvement in energy productivity by 2030. To this end it details 24 measures to be delivered collaboratively across government and economy-wide to achieve this productivity target.

comBAT: Ndevr Environmental constructed comBAT the community building assessment tool on behalf of Wangaratta, Wodonga, Alpine, Towong, Benalla, and Indigo Shire Councils who secured a DELWP grant to improve the climate resilience of their community buildings. The team undertook extensive consultation with the Councils and facility managers to determine the required specifications, and with support from BEAC and Rambol Environ developed the logic that would enable the automated generation of improvement recommendations based upon building information entered into the tool. IEFE tool - Ndevr Environmental developed and built aMicrosoft Excel-based framework to assist Viva Energy Australia navigate the requirements of the Industrial Electricity and Fuel Efficiency (IEFE) ERF Method. The tool is useful to assess the suitability of a range of energy related activities for inclusion in an ERF Energy Efficiency Project. The tool prompts the user to consider specific aspects of an activity to determine if it complies with the IEFE Methodology and draws out the potential abatement available. The tool flags where an activity may be unsuitable for inclusion in an IEFE Implementation or Project and allows the organisation to complete a ‘Go-No-Go’ type assessment in a structured manner
SCIENCE BASED TARGETS
Science Based Targets (SBTs) are a framework for more ambitious but necessary corporate emissions reductions. The Initiative requires corporations to set voluntary emission reduction targets that are in line with what is required to meet the international agreement to limit temperature increase to 2˚C. Setting a SBT for your business can help position your company for future regulatory change, encourage operational efficiency and enhance reputation.
