Tracking 2 Degrees

Under the Paris Climate Agreement, the Australian Government has committed to reducing Australia's emissions by 26-28% below 2005 levels by 2030. However, in order to ensure that global warming remains within the globally agreed 2˚C range, Australia’s Climate Change Authority (CCA), which provides independent expert advice to our government, has recommended more ambitious, science based targets than those set by government.

Utilsing the most up to date data on all industry sectors contributing to Australia's emissions profile, Ndevr Environmental's Tracking 2 Degrees Report provides quarterly updates on Australia's actual performance against the CCA's recommended carbon budget.
